The Front Porch

Memphis is known for being a city of hospitality. As we looked around our neighborhood, we realized there wasn’t a public place for five miles to enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend, work, or to hold a conference or event.

The Front Porch is our answer. Born from our annual Pumpkin Patch, where thousands of our neighbors gather every Fall, we asked: what if this sense of belonging could exist year-round? Nestled on Walnut Grove Road in the heart of East Memphis, this welcoming space is designed for our neighbors.

At 7,777 square feet, The Front Porch includes:

Second Helpings Café

Open Tuesday–Saturday from 7AM-4PM

Milla’s House

Grief support with Baptist Centers for Good Grief

Rentals

Event Space, Meeting Room, and Outdoor Grove available for booking

Monthly Events

Including outdoor concerts, speakers, family events and more

Gardens & Green Space

Long and inviting veranda with rocking chairs for outdoor conversations

Office Space

The Front Porch officially opened its doors on November 8, 2025. We welcome neighbors from across the city to explore our event spaces, visit the café, and experience the spirit of community we’re building together.
