The Grove Music Academy of Second Baptist Church is a faith-centered music education program dedicated to nurturing musical excellence and creative expression within our community.
The Academy provides high-quality instruction in instrumental music for students of all ages and skill levels. Through personalized lessons, ensemble opportunities, and performance experiences, students develop strong technical foundations while cultivating confidence, discipline, and artistry.
Our instructors are experienced musicians and mentors who are committed to guiding students to discover and develop their God-given gifts.
Performance Opportunities for Students and Community Musicians
We encourage students, instructors, and members of the broader music community to share their skills through participation in worship services, programs, concerts, and recitals throughout the year. Second Baptist Church enjoys sharing our spaces with the community.

• Private and group instruction in Piano and Music Theory
• Small Group Introduction to Music and Piano for preschoolers
• Private and group instruction for strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double bass)
Teaching Opportunities for Instructors
As enrollment in the Academy steadily surpasses our capacity, we are always excited to connect with passionate music educators looking to join a positive, supportive team. Instrumental and vocal instructors are invited to explore possibilities with us as we expand musical offerings to the community.
