Thank you for your interest on our program. We hope this will provide you with information about Second Baptist PDO. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
Hours of Operation
Our program operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-2:30. We ask that parents have children in their classrooms no later than 10:00. Our program serves children year-round with the exception of major holidays. Please ask the director for specifics, if needed. An Early and Late room is available for those in need of an extended day. Make-up days are not offered.
Our Children
We serve children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 5 years. We maintain low student-teacher ratios so as to provide an exceptional experience for our children.
Our Program
We are proud to offer a loving and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop. We provide many enrichment activities for our students on an age-appropriate level. Some of these include a daily Music program for children ages 1-5 and a daily "Children's Chapel" for student age 2-5. In addition to the regulary opportunities that teachers provide for children to learn we also have special activities throughout the year including Community Helpers Month, Farm Day, Circus Day, Christmas Program, Butterfly Release, etc. Our four and five year olds have computers in the classroom.
Communication
We strive to maintain good communication betwen school and home. Teachers provide written daily reports for parents and Program-wide newsletters are sent home monthly. In addition, reminders, newsletters, and notes are sent by e-mail as needed. We are always available to answer any questions you may have and you are always welcome to call during the day to check on your child.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition is due monthly by the 10th.

There is no charge for being placed on the waiting list.
