Bible study and faith formation groups of adults gather each Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. No one class is a fit for everyone, so we encourage you to visit a variety of classes to find the right for you. Community and friendships are built in these Sunday morning groups, and those friendships lead to additional fun and fellowship with each other.
Groups gather for various gatherings including games of Dominoes or Whisk, department lunches, golf outings, holiday parties, and special breakfasts just to name a few. They stay involved in intergenerational church wide activities like the Pumpkin Patch and Festival, Sort(a) Mission Days, Christmas baskets, Church Picnic and ministering to the homebound.
Small groups also gather during the week for Bible Study at the church or in homes. The studies involve a wide variety of interests from the latest inspirational study, to book studies, to mission studies and prayer times.
Ladies meet for book study, speakers, discussions of world issues, prayer for missions and ministry projects on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. until noon in homes. Contact church office for more information.
Men’s Bible Study Group meets in the church fellowship hall at 6:00 a.m.
Second’s Seniors is a program for those who are over sixty. This group gathers on the third Thursday of each month for a special time of gathering with friends to catch up on the latest news around coffee and refreshments. Each monthly program features guests from the community that provide information or entertainment that is pertinent to senior citizens. Lunch is provided for $6.00 by our church chef, Gregg Brown.
